• Can I count on PastureMap to be around in the future?

    • Yes - we’re here to stay. We are fortunate to be funded by a group of likeminded and impact-driven investors who enable us to keep building valuable tools to serve the ranching community. If the company’s situation ever changed, we are committed to working with each customer to export your data - it belongs to you permanently.

 

  • Can you handle a large operation like mine?

    • With over 2,500 users on PastureMap, we support multiple ranches of all sizes.  Many of our Pro users manage several thousand head of cattle and multiple grazing units on their PastureMap account.

 

  • Why is the monthly price so different from the annual price?

    • We developed the monthly pricing for users that only graze seasonally. It is more expensive since it’s intended for users that will only input data for 1-3 months. We recommend the annual membership for most ranchers.

 

  • Does PastureMap share or sell my data?

    • No. We never sell or share your account data, nor will we share any information about your ranch without your consent. We take our users’ privacy very seriously. If you ever choose to export your data, we will send it directly to you - you alone have the option to forward or share your PastureMap data with others. You can read our full privacy policy here.

    • To provide useful insights to our users about grazing efficiency, we may develop future features using aggregated data to create regional benchmarks (e.g. regional rainfall and forage production) that are anonymous and not traceable to any ranch. You will always have the option to opt out of such features and not have your data included.

 

  • Do I have to pay for multiple ranches?

    • Yes, if you are managing grazing units that are more than 5 miles apart, we consider that a separate ranch and you need to subscribe to a separate account. Each different ranch should have its own account, though they can be linked through the advisor feature.

 

  • How secure is my credit card information? Do you store it?

    • We never store your credit card information. Instead we rely on a very secure payment platform called Stripe that serves 100,000+ businesses with online payments. Your payment data entered is never sent to our server, it is sent directly to Stripe making all payments PCI compliant.  Read about other companies that use Stripe here.

 

  • A credit card doesn’t work for me, how can I subscribe?
